Reports from all over the State were heard, which spoke very beautifully and encouragingly of the movement. There was an overwhelming sentiment in this meeting for the suggestion of names of prohibition ists to make the race for the legislature and senate from this county. It was finally determined not to name at today's meeting any person as an aspirant for senatorial honors. The following were unanimously agreed upon to make the race for the legislature: Capt T li Martin, J II Dodd, P W Willis, C 1' Sanders and Dr. .John L Wofford. Those gentlemen are among tho most representative and conservative class of men to ho found anywhere and would represent Spartanburg county with credit anywhere in the political lino.
