This ease has been pending for a year or so In the original indictment Mis Manns and two of his sons were charged with murder At a pre vions term one of the sons was acquitted and a mistrial was ordered as to the old man and the other son. Since that trial the son has died and the father alone remained to stand tiinl at this term of the court. The ease occupied the whole of Tue-day afternoon.
