An aperient and Stomach preparation of Iron purified of Oxygen and Carbon by combustion in Hydrogen. Sanctioned by the Highest Medical Authorities, both ill Europe and the United States, and prescribed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of iron can be compared with it. Impurities of tho blood, depression of vital energy, pule and otherwise sickly complexions indicate its necessity in almost every conceivable ease. Innoxious in all maladies in which it has proved absolutely curative in cacti of the following complaints, vis In Debility, Nervous Affections Kunicination, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diui rimes, Dysente.y, Incipient Consumption, Scrofulous Tu beiculosis, Salt Klieuni, Misiiiensti nation, Whites, Chlorosis, Liver Complaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumatism, Intermittent Fevers, Pimples on the Face, Ac. In ease of tieiierul Debility, whether the result of acute disease, or ol the continued diminution of nervous and muscular .energy from chronic complaints, ono t rial of this restorative has proved successful to an extent which no edscription nor written attestation would render ci edible. Invalids so long bed'ridden as to hare become I'ui gotten in their own neighborhoods have suddenly re-appeared in tin; busy world as if just returned from protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances of this kind are attested of female Sulfercra, emaciated ......... ui upp?ieiii muiasinus, sangu.neons exhaustion, critical changes, and that complication of nervous and dyspeptic aversion to air and exercise for which the physician has no name. In Nervous A flections of all kinds, and for reasons lauiiliai to medical men, the operation pf this preparation of iron must necessarily be salutary, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and o\ srheating ; and gently, regularly aperient, even in the most obstinate cases of costivenesa without ever being a gastric purgative, or itiilicling a disagreeable sensation. It iti this latter property, among others, which" makes ft so reinaikably effectual and ermaueuta icuiedy for Pii.ks, upon which it also appears to exert a distinct and specific action, by dispersing the local tendency which " nos them, In Dyspepsia, innumerable as are its causes, i.single box ol these Chalybeate Pills lia^ often sufficed for the most habitual cases, including Die attended Costivcncss. In unchecked Diarrhrea, even srhen advanced Dysentery, confirmed, emaciating, and aparently malignant, the efleets have been equal} decisive and astonishing. In the local pains, loss of flesh and strength Cebilitating cough, and remittent hectic, which generally indicate Incipient Consumption, this temedy has allayed the alarm of liiendsand physicians, in several very gratifying and interesting instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated iron lias had far more thau the good effect of the most cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confidently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the case peculiarly affecting them. In Rheumatism, both chrouic and inflamatory?in the latter, however, more decidedly?it has been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings and stilfiiess of the joint* and muscles. In Intermittent Fevers it must necessarily be a great remedy and energetic restorative, and its progress in the new settlements of the 'A'est, will probably bo one of high renown and uscfulness. No remedy lias ever been discovered in the whole history of medicine, wlm h exerts such prompt, huppy, and fully restorative effects.?
