PH. MOTT'S CHALYBEATE RESTORATIVE PILLS OF I II 0 N. An aperient and Stonincb preparation of Iron p urilied of Oxygen ami Carbon by combustion in Hydrogen. Sanctioned by the highest Medical Authorities, both in Europe and the United States, and prescribed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of Iron can l>e compared i with it. impurities of '.be blood, depression of j vital energy, pnle and otherwise sickly cornflexions indicate its necessity in uiiuost every Conceivable casa. Innoxious in all maladies in which it has proved absolutely curative in each of the following complaints, viz In Debility, Nervous Affections Kinacinalion, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diairhgcn, Dysente.y, Incipient Consumption, Scrofulous Tu berculosis, Salt Khcum, Misineusti nation, Whites, Chlorosis, Liver Complaints, * Clonic Jleadaelies, Khoumatism, Interiuilicul fevers, fimpleson the Face, ie. In cuse of General Debility, whether the re? suit of acute disease, or of the continued diminution of nervous and muscular energy Iroiu chronic complaints, one trial of this restorative has proved successful to an extent which no edscnptioii nor written attestation would render credible. Invalids so long bednidden as to have become forgotten in their own neighborhoods have suddenly re .appeared in the busy world as if just returned front protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances oi this kind arc attested of female Sufferers, emaciated | victims oi apparent marasmus, sangu.ucous exhaustion, critical changes, and that complication of nervous and dyspeptic aveision to air and exercise for which the physician has no paine. Iu Nervous Affections of all kinds, and (or reasons familial to medical men, the operation pf tl la preparation of iron must necessarily be salu ary, tor, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and overheating ; and gently, regularly aperient, even in til ft ninat nKallnal^ 'r * ... VUc...<?tc vunc.i \M WMlVtMlt'^S Williout ever being a gastric purgative, or inflicting a disagreeable sensation. ft is this latter property, among others, which makes it so remarkably eirectuul ami eiiiiauent a lemedy for Pilks, upon which it also appears to exeit a distinct and spccilic ?c* . /ion, by dispersing the local tendency which i ius them, J,n Dyspepsia, innumerable as are its causes, a single box ol these Chalybeate Pi)|s has often sufficed for the most habitual cases, including . the attended Costiveness. In unchecked Irian lima, even vhun advanued < Dysentery, confirmed, emaciating, and apparently malignant, the effects have been eipial; decisive and astonishing. In the local pains, loss of flesh and strength debilitating cough, und remittent hectic, which generally indicate Incipient Consumption, this remedy has allayed the alarm of liiemls and physicians, in several very gratifying and interesting instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated .rou has had far more than the good effect ol the most cautiously balanced preparations ol jodbic, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of females cannot he too confid ently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the case peculiarly affecting them. In Rheumatism, both chrouic and inflaniatopy?in the latter, however, more decidedly?it has been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings and Stiffness of the joints and muscles. In Intermittent Fevers it must necessarily he a great remedy and energetic restorative, und jts progress in the new settlements of the West, will probably be one of high renown and usefulness. No remedy has ever been discovered in the ivhiki?? f ?1; - >-= L , ........, uicuiuiiv, nmiii exeitssildi prompt, bappy, and fully restorative effects.? A few facta upon this point will speak mora powerfully than volumes of bare assertion or blstouing puffery. The consumption of llostetter'a Stomach Bitters fur the last year amounted to over a halfmillion bottles, ami from its manifest steady increase in times pnst, it is tvideut that during the rniniug year the consumption will reach near one million bottles. This immense amount could never have beeu sold hut for the rare medicinal properties contained in the preparation, and the sanction of the most prominent physicians in those soctions of the country where the nrticlc is best known, who not only recommend the Bitters to their patients, but \ are ready at all times to give testimonials to its j efficacy iu nil cases of stomachic derangements mid the diseases resulting therefrom. This is not a temporary popularity, obtained by extraordinary efforts in the way of trum- 1 pclitig the qualities of the Bitters, but a solid | estimation of an invaluable medicine, which is ! destined to be as enduring os time itself. Hosteller's JSiomnch Bitters havt proved j a (Sodscnd to regions where fever and agua ami various other bilious complaints have < counted their victims by hundreds. To b? able to state confidently that the "Biltsra" lire a certain cure for the Dyspepsia and lika diseases, is to the proprietors a source of unalloyed pleasure. It removes sll morbid metier from the stomach, purifies the Mood, and imparts renewed vitality to the nervous system, giving it tliwt tone and energy iudispcnsabla lor the restoration of health- It oporntee upon ' the stomach, liver, and other digestive organs, mildly but powerfully, and soon restores t hem to;;condition essential to the healthy discharge of the functions of nature. Elderly persons may use the Bitters daily as per directions on tlie bottle, and they will find iu it a stimulant peculiarly adapted to comfort declining y curs, as it is pleasant to the palate, i invigorating to the bowels, excellent as a tonio, j and rejuvenating generally. We have the evi- j deuce of thousands of aged men and women ; who have experienced the benefit of using thia j preparation while suffering from stomach d?riuigeinents and general debility; acting under ! the advice of physicians, they have abandoned ! all deleterious drugs and fairly tested lbs instils of this article.
