DR. MOTT'S CHALYBEATE RESTORATIVE P ILLS O F 1 11 O N. An aperient and Stomach preparation of Iron curiticd of Oxygen and Carbon by combustion Mi Hydrogen. Sanctioned by the highest Medical .dutliorities, botli in Kurope and the United States, and prescribed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of Iron can he compared with it. Impurities of the blood, depression of vital energy, pale and otherwise sickly complexions indicate its necessity in ulniost every conceivable case. Innoxious in nil innludies in which it has proved absolutely cur&livo in each of (lie following complaints, viz In Debility, Nervous Affections Kmaciiiation, Dyspepsia, Constiputlon, Diairliuea, I)ysente.y, Incipient Consumption, Scrofulous Tu bcrculosis, Salt Kbeuui, Mismenstination, j Whites, Chlorosis, Liver Complaints, Chronic Ml>A(lA(*kna I *' ' Dimples on the Face, &c. In cose of General Debility, whether the result of acute disease, or of the continued diminution of nervous and muscular energy from chronic complaints, one trial of this restorative has proved successful to an extent which no description nor written attestation would render credible. Invalids so long bod'ridden as to havo become forgotten in their own neighborhoods, have suddenly rc.appcared in the busy world as if just returned from protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances of this kind are attested of feuiale Sufferers, emaciated victims ol apparent marasmus, sanguineous exhaustion, critical changes, and that complication ot nervous and dyspeptic aveisiou to air and exercise for which the physician has no name. In Nervous Affections of all kinds, niul for reasons familial to medical men, the operation of this preparation ot iron must necessarily lie salutary, tor, unlike tha old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and overheating; and gently, regularly aperient, even in the most obstinate cases of costivetiesa without ever being a gastric purgative, or inflicting a disagreeable sensation. It is this latter property, among others, which makes it so remarkably effectual and permanent a remedy for 1'ii.ks, upon which it also appears to exert a distinct and specific action, by dispersing the local tendency which forms them, In Dyspepsia, innumerable as are its euiscs, a single box ul tliese t'liuly bcute rills has often suiticcd lor the most habitual cases, including the attended Costirciiess. in unclicckcd Diairlnrj, even when advanced to Dysentery, confirmed, emaciating, and apparently malignant, the clfects have been equally decisive uud Astonishing. Ju the local pains, loss of flesh and strength debilitating cough, and remittent hectic, which generally indicate incipient Consumption, this remedy has allayed llm aim-mot fiends and physicians, ill several very gratifying and interesting instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated jroii bus had far more than the good effect ol thu most cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confidently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the case peculiarly affecting them. In Rheuiu-itism, both clnouic and intluiiiatorv i? !.- l.n.i- l.?? - 1??it had been invariably well reported, both as ulleyiatiug pain and reducing Ilia swelling* and stiffness of tliu jointa and muscles. In Intermittent levers it uiuat necessarily be a great remedy and energetic restorative, and ita progress in the new settlement* of the ' Vest, will probably be one of high renown and usefulness. No remedy has ever been discovered in the whole history of medicine, vviiitli exeits such prompt, happy, and fully restorative cHeels,? tiood appetite complete digestive, rapid acquisition of strcnght, with an unusual disposition for actiro and cheerful exercise, immediately follow its use. ??ut up in neat flat mefnl boxes containing Mi pills, price bo cents per box ; tor sale by druggists and ijcalpis. \Vi|| bp sent hee to any adtire* on receipt of the price. A few facte upon this point will speak more powerfully than volumes of bare assertion or I'muiting puffery. The consumption of Hosteller's Stomach Hit* tcrs for the lust year atiiounted to oret* a half- ( million bottles, and from its manifest steady increase in limns past, it is evident that during the coining year the consumption will reach near one million bottles. This immense amount could never have been sold but for the rare medicinal properties contained in the propara tion, and (ho sanction of tho most prominent physicians in those sections of the country where tho articlo is best known, who not only recommend the llitters to their patients, but are ready at all times to giTe testimonials to its efficacy in all oases of stomachic dorangomonts and the diseases resulting therefrom. This is not a temporary popularity, obtained by extraordinary effort.* in the way of trumpeting the qualities of the Dittors, but a solid estimation of an invaluable medicine, which is dostined to bo as enduring as time itself. llostcttcr's Stomach Iiittors have proved a Godsoud to regions where fever and ague and various other bilious complaints havo counted their victims by hundreds. To be able to state confidently that the "Bitters" are a certain cure for the Dyspepsia and like disenses, is to the proprietors a source of tin1 alloyed plonsure. It removes all morbid matter from tho stomach, purifi?; the blood, and i Imports renewed vitality to the nervous system, ' giving it that (otic And energy indispensable ' for the restoration of health. It operates upon t the stomach, liver, and other digestive organs, mildly but powerfully, and soon restores them to acondiiion essential to the healthy dischargo of the functions of nature. A few words to the getitlor sex. There are ccrfdin periods when tlicir cares arc so harassing that many r>f them pink under the triul. The relation of mofher and child is so absorbingly tender, that the j mother, especially if she lie young, is apt to forget her own health in her extreme anxioty I for her infant, Hhould the period of maternity > arrive during the summer season, the wear of j body and mind is generally aggravated. Here, j ilieu, is a necessity for a stimulant to recupe- ' rale the energies of the system, and enable the , mother to hear up under her exhausting triala and responsibilities. Nursing mothers gene- . rnlly prefer the Hitler* to all other invignra- ] tors that receive the endorsement of physi- ' cians. because it is agreeable to the taste as well an certain to give a permanent incrcaso of bodily strength. Scrofula, or King's Evil, U a constitutional disease, a corruption of the blood, by Which this fluid becomes vitiated* weak, and poor. lleing in the circulation, it jujrvadea the whole burly, and may burst out in disease on any part of it. No organ is free from its attacks, nor j? there one which-it may not destroy. The scrofulous taint is variously , t caused hy mercurial disease, low living, disordered or unhealthy food, impure air, tilth and fllthy habits, the dettfc-^tiig \ ices, ami, above all, by the venereal infection. This foul corruption, which genders in the blood, depresses the energies of life, so that rcrofhlous constitutions not oisly suffer from scrofulous com plaints, but they have far less power to withstand the attacks of other diseases; conscnuontlv vflut nttmWs nurwh \w ?lisov/lnv. which, although not scrofulous in tiieir nature, aro still rendered fatal by this taint in the system. Most of the consumption which decimates the human family has its origin directly ?m in tltis scrofulous contamination; and many V destructive diseases of the liver, kidneys, brain, * u and, indeed, of all the organs, arise from ov arc aggravated by the same cause. One quarter of all our people ore scrofulous; their persons arc invaded by this lurking infection, and their health is undermined by it. To cleanse it from the system we must renovate the blood by an alterative medicine, and in igorato it by healthy food and exercise. Such a medicine we supply in AYER'S Compound Extract of Sarsaparilln, the most effectual remedy which the medical skill of our times can devise for this everywhere prevailing and fatal maladv. It is combined from the most active remediala that have been discovered for the expurgation of this foul disorder from the blood, and the rescue of the system from its destructive consequences. Hence it should be employed for the cure of J not only Scrofula, bet also fhosc other afTec- " tions which arise from it, such as Eruptivs and Skin Diseases, St. Anthony's Fire, Ross, or Erysipelas, Pimples, Pvotvlis, Blotches, Blains and Boils, Ti'mors, Tetter an?l Salt Run *.
