BEAUTIFUL BIJOU. ".tfiasrs. Cm-dry, Nichols, & Co., Ill, Washington street, Boston, have sent lis one of the pi ettiest pieces of Molidny Itijouteiie that we have seen for mniiy a day. It consists of u miniature volume printed in tip-top style, with gilded cover and gilt-edged leaves, containing a poetical history of Fanny Gray, accompanied by six elegant curds illustrating some of ?l?.? picturesque events of her lite, in colored lithograph, or, to speak more to purpose, showing how ? pretty girl looks in six different situations, ami as many uiflereiit costumes,?in shoi t, exile its one head upon lull u dozen pair of shoulders, with the changes which dress produces upon the Maine face and features; for ranny's head, instead of Irecowing 'turned' as some fill's heads I sometimes are by their finery, is so contrived as to slip otf, when she gets too fo:d of one dress, and is put oil to a new pair of shoulders, in n new form and in a new suit ot clothes,?winding up in the licit co.-tuuie of womanhood, with u pet greyhound by her side. The liist of the series of picluics represents the cottage wlieie Fanny was born, wiilr a sylvan st.eam crossed by a beautiful bridge, and shaded by the noble oak tree that shadows its garden. The whole of those pictures, with the portable head piece j of the heroine, and the little volume of letterpress histo-y, are put up in an ornamental box superbly colored and embellished by gold and | fancy colored designs, among which is Fanny in blue and gold, feeding her chickens. We can ' hardly imagine any tiling prettier than too little I girls engaged in enjoying it together; one read| ing the vei-sea describing the pictures shown, | and the other putting the pat ts in their proper [ place*." from (hi \i 10 licd/ord Mrrrury.
