' ^?n commenting upon the letter from Senator Walsh, Governor Coop er said, "This letter from Senator Walsh contains most encouraging news. It shows that only financial assistance is needed to make the sen ate Democratic, and is gives our peo ple an opportunity to show just how much they are in earnest in their expressions of hope for Democratic success. "Senator Walsh is one of the big men of the senate and- this statement from him should be given most care ful consideration.
