wmmmmmmm m THIRD AUCTION SALE August 2 , -7th, Brass Band and Free Barbecue Dinner We have conducted two very successful sales in your town, and in a way that no one could be dissatisfied with. As so many people are asking us when is the next sale to be, we have decided to put on the third and biggest sale yet-big in many respect. Big for Edgefield town and county, for it will bring new people here, new enterprises and make all business grow as never before. Big as an advertisement of Edgefield to the outside world of the future possibilities of Edgefield. Big because it awakens the citizens of Edgefield to the fact that if they want to see their town and county grow they must get busy. Now on the 26th, 27th and 28th we want all Edgefield people to be with us. We are going to have a free barbecue at E. M. Pad gett's place. Ladies are specially invited. On Tuesday, the 26th, we will begin the sale at Mr. J. Padgett Carson's farm of 87 acres, near Harmony church and school. This is a part of the Bacon tract in one of the best farming sections of the State. Don't miss this sale. Then we will go to the E. M. Padgett farm, 6 miles from Trenton and 14 miles from Augusta on the Dixie Highway. We will sub-divide this tract of 309 acres in six nice farms all with good frontage on the highway. Four 3 to 4-room houses with barn and well at each house. Two running streams through the place. We will cut it to the best advantage for the purchaser. We are going to. give to each purchaser of a tract of this land free a fine mule. The purchaser of one tract will have the privilege of taking as many more atthe same price and get a mule for each tract. Don't forget the barbecue dinner will be at the E. M. Padgett place. m August 27th, at 10:30, we will begin the sale of the J. P. Hite farm of 85 acres. One 6-room house, barn, etc., two 3 and 4-room tenant houses, ll miles from Johnston, sandy land, good neighborhood. This place will be cut to suit purchasers. From the J. P. Hite**plaee we will next come to the J. M. Wright place of 57.7 acres, one 5-room dwelling, barns and tenant houses, 3 miles from Edgefield on the Johnston-Edge field public road. A most desirable place to live. Next W. W. Adams Cross Road Farm and T. A. Broadwa ter Farm. Then we will go to the town of Edgefield and offer for ?ale one of the oest paying business in the county, Mr. A. L. Kemp's shop, all tools, machinery and material in connection with it. Also grist mill, gasoline engine and ali machinery connected with it. This lot is 90x120 feet, adjoins the hotel lot and would be a most desirable place for a garage to accommodate our tourists. Don't let some one else get this from you. Mr. E. S. Johnson has a 2-acre lot with one 4-room house, one 6-room house, barn and well just across the E. E. tract from Mr. Frick's planing mill. A good lot for any business purpose where it is necessary to be near the E. E. tract. Look this lot over. Mr. R. H. Parks' home in North Edgefield, consisting of dwelling, barn, etc., one tenant house and eight acres of good land. This i? beautiful place to live, surrounded by homes of the best people. You farmers who want a nice home in town would do well to look it over. The W. C. Tompkins stable will be offered for sale again, and it is go-ing to sell this time, so you had better get busy. The last place we will offer for sale is a 150-acre farm three miles from Edgefield. We are going to see how cheap this will sell-not how high. It will surprise you how cheap it will go. Every should make a sacrifice some time during life. We are going to make ours on the 28th. Be on hand. Don't forget Tuesday, the 26th, 10:30, J. Padgett Carson's farm and E. M. Padgett's farm. Free barbecue at Padgett's farm. Wednesday, the 27th, at 10:30, J. P. Hite farm, J. M. Wright farm, T. A. Broadwater and W. W. Adams farms. Thursday, the 28th, at 10:30, A. L. Kemp's shops and mill, W. C. Tompkins' stables, E. S. Johnson's lots and houses and the 150-acre surprise farm. We want all the people of Edgefield with us. Good music, good time and fair treatment.
