I wish to thank the Chairmen of the several districts and the people of Edgefield county generally for their asssistance in the United War Work campaign, which has just clos ed. As shown by statement the amount reported for Edgefield coun ty up to this time is $8,538.97. On account of sickness or other reasons there are several districts which have not yet reported, and I wish to urge the chairmen of these districts to organize and see that their districts are canvassed, and re port to me as soon as possible. Lists of individual subscriptions will be published showing each sub scriber and the amount subscribed. On account of the fact that full lists have not been obtained as yet and that space will not permit publica tion of all names in one issue of the paper, we only publish such names as the papers could take for this week, but this will be continued from week to week until all names are published.
