On account of the political aspect which fugues' friends have given to the application in hia behalf I have "refused to consider it until after the election. It may as well be under stood now as later that the Gov-' ernor of this State is nbt to be bulldozed just before election or at any other time in the discharge of his official obligations.". November 8,1892, at the va rious voting precincts established by law in the County of Edgefield, for a Representative of the Second Congressional District of South Carolina in the Fifty Third Con gress of the United States, and for ? fourteen Presidential Electors.
