Edgefield, in the present style, prom, ise aud patronage of (his large house, seems to have taken a bound upward and onward. See the announcement cf the "Gary.Hotel" in another column. Mr B. P. Covar, the proprietor,- is a man of untiring energy, excellent judgment, and most obligiug disposition. Ho will keep his house tn accordance with the advanced ideas and vastly increased com forts of the present day ; and his career in this lir.e of business will bo certain to make Edgefield very attractive to stran gers and wayfarers. But to come down to real literal matters, we do not exactly see where our friend Covar will put his strangers and wayfarers, for, as far as we i can see, his house is already filled up NY i th permanent boarders, forming a so cial circle very pure and refined.
