Tho Lutheran Synod of South Carolina bas been in 'session lately at Frog Level, on the Greenville and Columbia Railroad ; and we notice among the proceedings, a resolution to fully sustain Newberry College, the education al institution of the denomination, at Wal-, halla. This College seems to be in a better condition now than it has been since the war, and the Lutherans will make strenuous efforts to raise for- it an endowment fund.
