In one in stance we have in our ranks four brothers, in an other three, in thirteen instances we have two, and in one father and son. We have had the maxi mum limit viz: One hundred men, but the Coi- a pany unanimously agreed that the emergency did t not yet demand the services of the oldl. and beg ged that two of our brethren oonsider themselves excused. These two gentlemen are over fifty eight years of age, but remembering only the dan ger of their beloved State, they forgot that they were not boys again. B. Soet.-L here are all the good oes gone? It seems to be a rare chance nowadays to get a pir of any respectade durability. Espe cily in the rticle of emisses' Walking Shoes is this at Fad and (to us) a rather perplexing fact.
