GONE FILLIEUSTERTG.-The New Orleans Uelta of the 2d instant publishes a very mys teriously worded article, announcing that the celebrated clipper Gropeshiot, which had been qnietly anchored at the Belize for a couple of montis, suddenly and mysteriously weighed anchor A% Tuesday last. Captain Baxter, who had been peramlulatting the streets of New Orleans for several weeks, disappeared with her, as did also thirty-tive hundred old muskets, for merly purchased of the Government oi specu lation by George Law. The Delta hints that she may-have gone on a privateering expedition, under authority of the Czar, aginst the Eng lish and French merchantmen, but we suspect that it shoe has really sailed, it has been in con seqnence of the advices recently received from Spain. UNEXPECTED OFFER-It is said that a Roos siai Commissioner came out in the last stealer filly authorized to sell to our government all the Russian possessions in this continent, and has already made an otfer to that effect. Sutctcor.-A passenger on board the steam boat Northerner lately leaped overboard a! Ri ingr Sun, [a. le was reseued, and on being interrogated, said "he was out of mioney, hoad no frietids, and being tired of life had deterinin ed to drown himself." OBITUARY.
