BAcos.-This article has declined a fraction since our last report. We quote 11.3 to 12 ets., with good supplies. In matters of general interest, the Southern Democrat will be conducted with a view to render it acceptible to all classes of the community, and to keep its readers advised of all matters of public nnd general interest, and also those matters of a local nature which more particularly afflect the.in terests of the District. On all subjects. the Southern Democrat will be rearless and independent, but at the sametime, the subscriber pledges himself that the columns of his paper shall never be prostituted to selfish purposes, or opened to discussions calculated to excite perso nal enmity and discord. In size, the paper will be double medium, and rinted on entirely new Type.
