The course of Study is of an elevated chzarae ter, and more comprehensive, than that of most female institutions of the highest reputation. The PRINCIPAL devotes the whole of his time to the supervision and instruction of the various. elasses. The Assistants are rienced in their diffe rent ]pepartments, and only of known lue cess in teaching are employed. The Academical year is divided into Sessions of 14 weeks each. Itis of great importance that the student be present at the commencement of the Session. The Classes are then formed, and a few weeks delay may affect the standing of the pupil throughout the year. Tuition is charged but from the time of en trance to the end of the essien. Payments are to be made at the elm of each ession. Uunumual facilities are given for a thorough Musical Education. in addition to other improvements, which are now in progress, a large covered playground, for exercise in wet weather, and a gymnasium, are to be erected. RAYMOND, under whose care and superintendence it will be opened about the middle of September next. In the mean time the buildings will be much enlarged, and every arrangement made for the accommodation of a large number of pupils. The Trustees are anxious to establish a Fe male Institution, which shall command the coufi dence and secure the patronage of the communi ty at large.
