The whole issue of those guaranteed (told Bonds, which ran be registered thereby affordLa lag complete protection against robbery, is only 9500,000. Of this amount half has already been taken up. The Bonds of this Company dlfler from those of most Southern Ballroad Companies, from the fact that the road is completed, thoroughly equipped and flee from debt and owned and controlled by Northern Capitalists ire of large means and experience, whose aim and intcntion is in connection with the Savannah . and Charleston, Georgia, Western and 18? Atlantic, Nashville and Chattanooga irt and tho St. Loafs and Month western (cont aoildsted) Railroads, to make this the through route, l*' as It is now the shortest from St. Louis to the Atlan)1T tic 8ea Board, and thereby controlls the transportation of the vast amount of produce and cotton seeking a market ria the porta of Charleston, Savannah and Port Royal. In addition to the strength the Bonds derive from being a First Mortgage of the Port Royal Railroad Company, they bear the guarantee of the Georgia Railroad and Banking Company, one of the best known corporations In the South, and whose credit stands unquestionably high. The net receipt of this road for the year ending March 81,1872, afterdedncting all expenses amounted to $850,000?a sum almost sufficient to par the principal, to say nothing of tho interest of the bonds guaranteed. The Georgia Railroad and Banking Company pays regular dividends of Eight (8) Per Cent upon Its capital stock. The undersigned are offering the Gold Bands at the low flgure of 90 and accrued interest in currency, free of commission and express charges, at which price they pay over Nine (9) Per Cent to the investor.
