Mr. Will Smith, a carpenter born nd reared in the city, suffered a seere injury one day last week when e fell from a scaffold about the ofce being erected by Mr. C. D. trown at his home. It is not known just how the accient occurred but in some way Mr. mith fell, the blow striking him in le shoulders and the back of his ead. He has lain at his home since len, completely paralyzed from the eck down and his'condition grows rorse instead of better. Mr. Smith is a brother of Mr. Chas. . Smith, of this city, and has a irge number of friends and acquaininces in the city where he lived all f his life until the last year or two rhen he moved to the farm of Mr. L A. Richey, on which he now reides.
