I have no platform to offer. There : pre no issues on which all candidates I may not agree. We all stand for \ tin economical administration of the p.ffairs of the city. I have no criti-! cism to make of the present administration; but the voters of the city have been exceedingly kind to Dr. Gambrell; they have elected him and re-elected him, and he should now etand aside gracefully and let the J matter be threshed out by the rest of us. I have lived amongst you long enough to know the most of you, and have never before asked any political favor and only ask this office for one term. If I am elected I promise *r> civA vou as eood and economical administration as my predecessor. I Yours very truly, Patrick Roche. UNITED STATES ATTORNEY.
