The deceased was born, and lived in this J community all his days, and his lile's work J speaks for itself. In manuer he was gentle, quiet and unas- : Burning ; being a great reader he was usually *. satisfied with a book as his companion. * Socially he was polite, kind, aud nenerous ? to a fault, and always greeted his fellowmen > with a bright smile aud happy good morn- } lng. He was a member of the Methodist church -i of this city. , His young life has been cut oft", and bis I work on earth Is over, and he his gone to join loved ones In the great beyond and Is now at > rest. His funeral services were conducted Sunday I mo- ning at the home by his pastor Rev. P. B. His re- 10 mains were interred in the Cemetery at Leba- am non on Thursday afternoon In the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. ^ The deceased was a most excellent young > man with the prospects of a long life and 1 bright future, but alas! he was cut down in tbe prime and vigor of young manhood.
