On last Sunday according to announcement liev. L. W. Brown was regularly ordained and installed as pastor of the Lebanon Presbyterian church by Rev. J. Lowrle VV11- 1 son ol Abbeville. Rev. F. W. Gregg of Pendleton delivered In an eavnest and Impressive manner, and In most eloquent language, the charge to tbr congregatlou and Rev. Henderson ol Hodgts delivered In aa earnest and forceful manner, and mosi beaulllul language the charge to Rev. L?r. Wilson preached the morning ser- . moo, and It was said by many that he excelled bimse f on ibis occasion. The services throughout were very Interesting, solemn and impressive and tor.ched the minds and | hearts ol all present. The congregation Hie much pleased with their new pastor who is a young man of promise being lntllectually above the average student. Is redm-d and < cultured in manner and address and will | win his way to the hearts and homes or his congregation. He wil. preach at J Lebanon In the moruing of the first and third Sundays,and at Little Mountain second and foarth Sundays in each month. Also will have an appointment for Bethla. The services on Sunday were attended by an unusually large congregation beyond the capacity of the church building, many sitting neartbe windows In their buggies. Lebanon has now, and always has had a fine choir, and on this occasion with Mis* Annie Gibert at the organ and Prof. J. S. G1 bert at the head of the choir the music was simply grand.
