He attended a meeting of the Supreme Lodge of the Knights of Honor In that city last week. Miss Ida Mae Brownlee of Antrevllle is in tbe city spending some time with her sister Mrs. J. C Dickson, who has been quite.sick. Mr. J. Alien Smith was in Columbia several days last week on business. Congressman Wyatt Aiken and Master Barnwell Aiken returned to Washington on Friday. Wells pastor of the church conducted tbe services. The musical program waB beautiful and well conducted. DEATH OF MRS. JONES F. MILLER. Mrs. lone Allen Miller, wife, of Mr. Jones F. ! Miller, died in Atlanta last Friday after a long and tedious Illness. Mrs. Miller was an ;earnest Christian woman and a consistent member of tbe Methodist Church. She leaves a mother, husband, fourcbildren and five sisters to mourn her loss. The body was brougbt to Abbeville Saturday. Tbe funeral serviceswere conduoted Sunday morning at tbe Methodist Church and tbe Interment was at Long Cane Cemetery.
