The average mill employer (teems to think that such legislation in a blow to the mill owoeni aud the politicians encourage that view of the matter, when aa a fact, they are workiug against their own interests at every step taken. The politician on the stump will become eloquent and shed team over the oppression of the children in the mill* by" the mill owner*. It gives them a fair chance to ap|>eal to claa* prejudice and to stir up strife and make the employes think thai they are the most dowu-trodden people in the world.
