He did not come to breakfast, but no suspicion mitti that anything was the matter occurred r to anyone until ahout II o'clock when, y.f? ; as he had not left his room, an attempt ' was made to enter his room. Mr. Jordan was lying w i partly on bis back, with his right hand J I extended across the bed and with hit C left hand pressing over his heart. . Physicians were immediately summoned, but their skill was of no avail. In their opinion Mr. Jordan had been . dead several hours. The bed clothes were not rumpled and from all appear? ances Mr. Jordan had not been in bed t long when death came. The physicians state that cerebral y ^ o hemorrhage was the cause of his death j y and the coroner's jury returned a ver- The A diet to that efllect.
