P. church. Miss Nellie Kennedy is thinking of teaching w school this fall. The most important matter that will come before the Synod of the A. R. P. church at its L! approaching meeting in Charlotte, N. C., in November, is the election of a President of ol Ersklne College. A number of names have been mentioned in connection with this high Tl and responsible office but, so far, no one man In the Synod towers head andshoulders above M V the others for the place. It is highly imported that the right man be elected since the Tl prosperity and even the life of the college depends upou Its President. A high honor >] awaits some man and a great responsibility must be shouldered by the man who Is to be T so honored. Miss Gertie Brownlee had a pleasant visit si with the family of Mr. J. B.
