The Press and Bai ner Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1891. By HUGH WILSON. Twelve Pages. Kxhibitin;; ii Snb-Trt'iistirj'. Judge Lyon is the owner of some, valuable creek bottom land South ol Abbeville. These lands lie is clearing and getting ready for the uext crop. He will plant com, and will build uouu-uc^uij wi ins un u, n uvre lie will muic his corn, una draw from it at ins pleasure. Such sub-treasuries as Judge Lyon is establishing will do more good than the Alliance sub-treasury. This reminds us of what Dr. Drenuon, ol Verdery, is reported to have said. That six day's faithful work would bring more relief to this county than any number ol Government pawn s-hops. I>eiitli of h Democratic Xf'sro.
