It was worse now than ever, lie was very harsh with his nose and attracted the attention of two gentlemen 011 the other side of the ear. Well all seemed to enjoy this Innocent sport so I let him snore. After the funny part of it was over, 1 awaked my friend ind he seemed surprised to llntl so mayy tailingat him, but I guess he didn't care as lie didn't say anything. We changed ears; again at Weldon and arrived safely in Portsmouth, where we went aboard the steamer Virginia. Left Portsmouth that night at 91 o'clock. The bay was pretty rough for an | hour or two.
