Fowler, of Anderson, had a big egg trad# a few days since, taking two hundred dozen in part pay for a mule. A joker told an old colored man in Raleigh that the North Carolina Legis lature was about to pass a law making it right for a man to sell his wife The old man doubted, and asked anoth er citizen, who, to see the effect, inti mated that the report was true.
