The carriages and wagon factory, in rear of the Broad street repository, is kept running to its full capcity, man ufacturing vthides of all kinds spe- cilal y ordered. They have just turned out one of the larges, and finest spring trucks ever used in this city, made to order for the Riverside Mill, and speci ally adapted to their warts in hauling bales of cotton goods manufactured by them. This truck is a modbl of its kind, combining many new features and is a sample of the many fine ve hicles made by Goodyear & Co*, and now running in this and adjoining States. Mr Goodyear informs uS that they have orders ahead fo vehicles of this class and that the demaud for ve hicles of then* own manufacture was never so large as at the present time, and their general trade is larger than for many years, and there is no market in this section where this class of goods can be obtained a# advantageously as in Augusta.
