The annual concert Monday nigl was unusually interesting, all tl seniors and some of the advance students taking part. For thre years there have been weekly an monthly public recitals. Prevatt and Allin Bethea. There were two excelleti violin solos by Miss Graeie Sander and an effective violin ensembl number by Misses Smith, Sander: Antaker. Neeley and Mr. Jumper. At the appointed hour, accordin to old custom the senior class read ing. the students entered the chapc in academic line singing class song: The stage was beautifully and tastil decorated for the occasion. The salutatory wa delivered by Miss Carrie Counts, wh very aptly changed the phrase, "W who are about to die salute you," t "We who are about to live gree you." The class history, in the form o a letter to former president, Dr. \\ W. Daniel, was read by Miss Eunic Unger. The class prophecy by Mis Carrie Counts and the class will b Miss Sadie Harter delighted the au dlence by their keen hits am thrusts at the foibles of student and teachers. Miss Louise Jone leelingly and beautifully spoke th valedictory, declaring the numerou threads that had so tenderly inter woven tli" lives and fortunes of th class together. After an instrumen tal solo by Miss Guy Skipper the sen Jors sang "Till We Meet Again." am the exercises were at an end.
