Williams Wed nesday at 4:30. The program for the afternoon will be in charge of Mrs. W. 11. Millen and the subject for discussion Is "Kitchen and Flower Gardens." York to Improve Streets. The town of York soon will hold an election on the Issuance of $100,nho bonds for street improvement. It Is estimated that by assessing abutting property one-half the cost, approximately five miles of streets will be built. Return from France. C., had her tonsils removed at the Charlotte sanatorium yesterday and is getting along nicely. She will return home today. Mrs. Witherspoon will he accompanied home by her mother, Mrs. W. J.
