Jim Shaver, a Lancaster boy who
Joined the U. S. Marines a few years j
ago, returned Sunday to pay his parents
and friends a visit. Mr. Sha-i
Ver is stationed at New York, and
states that Lancaster has grown to
be a city since he left.
The Morlah Union or fifth Sunday
meeting held a very successful
meeting last Friday at Fork Hill.
The attendance was excellent. Moderator
W. L. Croxton and Clerk W.
F. Rstridge were at their posts of
duty". Twenty of the twenty-five
churches were represented by delegates.
Mr. Rstridge states that any
church desiring the union can communicate
with W. J. Horton, Kershaw,
Route No. 3, chairman of
commissioners on Time and Place.
