The building was owned by Sheriff J. P. Hunter and his loss -i v ill be fully with about $:ioo insurance, while the market, owned I and operated by Douglas Plyler, will be almost an entire loss. The fire ( department did good work hut the blaze was so far advanced when discovered that little could be accomplished. Efforts towards reviving the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce are j now under way and those interested r say that ther? la every prospect of e success. A call has been Issued for ,c the Roard of Governors of the Cham- j her of Commerce to meet next Thurs- ^ day aftornoon, at which time plans ( will be considered for -reorganizing the body.
