Plans announced today said a plant
comparing favorably with that of the
present organization, erected as a
cost of $2,000,000, was contemplated
"to further the educational progress
of the South."

Industrial college and the retiring
president of the National Education
association, was elected president of
the new body. Other officers are:

by the Germans up to date, according i

apparently is between 30,000 audi

Wilson's second inauguration probably
will be a comparatively simple
affair.
It is accepted as certain by officials
that there will be no inaugural ball,
in spite of the hope of Washington
citizens for such an event.
In addition to the president's opposition
to elaborate ceremony at his
inauguration in 191rf, officials point
to the recent death of his sister. Mrs.
Anne llowe, the fact that March 4
falls on Sunday next year, and the
prospect that the European war still
will be in progress next March as
reasons why the next inaugural exercises
