Currell, president of the University of South Carolina, delivered an address at Oakhurst sehool house on Tuesday night, the 22nd. inst., on the occasion of their oyster supper and Washington's birthday celebration. Dr. Stanley, of Horry county, was here Tuesday looking into the. advisability of locating for medical practice in the near l'u tu re, Mrs. J. A. Mobley left Tuesday for Columbia where she is spending a few days with her son. C. 13. Mobley, and family.
