General McReynolds to consult him
with regard to the enforcement of
the Webb liquor law and ask his
opinion of the measure which President
Taft vetoed because he and
Attorney General Wlckersham con-j
sldered It unconstitutional.
Attorney General McReynolds told

considered the bill with a
view to determining its constitutionality,
several of the assistant attorney
generals had and their decision
was opposite to that held by
President Taft.
