The tree in question, having for
many years been used to support
the "paper box" of the Hunters,
Shavers and Baileys aud others,
has tor generations been called
the "paper box" tree, and even
| to this day is so designated. On
i account of its associations, we are
told that Sheriff Hunter never
passes the tree without lifting
his hat. The tree'R age is not
known, out it has probably been
standing for 100 years or more.
