Curious Disease that is E Spreading Throughout the, n Country. ? t Anderson Mail: A disease h that is soreadinir with alArminir ? rapidity i? described in a recent issue of the New York Tribune, ii II is called Morbus Sabbaticos, w or Sunday sickness. The attack comes on suddenly on every Sundayjno symptoms are left on Saturday night; the patient sleeps well wakes t i ?l ing well, eats a hearty breakfast, but about church time the attack come* on and continues until services are g over for the morning. Then the y patient feels easy and eats a ^ hearty dinner. In the afternoon ^ he feels much better, and is able e, to take a walk, talk politics and p r?ad the Sunday papers. Ha eats c| a hearty supper but, about church ft] time he has another attack. He O I retires early, sleeps well, and 8j, wakes up Monday morning re- ra freshed und able to irn to work- I . --- ? ?1 ot nnd does not have any symptoms ca of the disease until the follow- , ing Sunday. The peculiar fea- jj tures are as follows : First?It always attacks mem p bers of the church. Second? It' never makes its appearance except on Sunday. j() Third?The symptoms vary HO but it, never interferes with the Ca 6leep or appetite. sc Fourth?It never lasts more fa than twenty-lour hours. pr Fiith?It generally attacks the ar head of the family.
