Financial Agent Moore of Farmers' Union Assaulted. L Spartanburg special in Charlotte Observer : W. O. Moore, financial agent of the Farmers' Union, was assaulted today in Greenville by members of the union and badly beaten about his face. He has caused the p n r? i ~ aucob ui Ai.. it.. rviageway, W. S Tomlin, W. A. Rice, Judsoti King and G. F. Kerry. For some time there has been friction in the ranks of the Farmers' Union. The meeting of the exe-1 cutive committee was held to-J day in Greenville and as the outcome of the meeting Mr. Moore was assaulted. He recently went to Euiope to make arrangements with foreign cotton spinners to buy their cotton direct from the farmers.
