Young Lancastrian Meets
with Tragic Death in Camden?Remarkable
Case of

A most remarkable case ol
mistaken identity occurred here
Wednesday afternoon. A young j
man, who wa9 supposed to be
Mr. Wilber Langley, son of the
late Kohert Langley of Laucaster, ^
was accidentally killed by a live
wire in Camden Tuesday even ^
ing. He was recently employ
ed by the Jones carnival compa ^
ny, now showing in Camden, 11
and while attempting to attach a ^
globe to an electric wire, caught
hold of the wire and was instantlv
killed. {Such at least are the ^

The following are the resolutions,
viz : Whereas, the lack
of growth and development of
the town of Lancaster is due in a
large measure to the fact that it
is without a system of water
works and electric lights, be it
therefore resolved by the Democratic
voters of said Town, in
mass meeting assembled :
1 That, as a step towards
getting, both water am! lights,
the mayor and aldermen, nominated
at this meeting, when ola< ted,
do take the necessary Hep*
to extend the corporate limits of
said Town one-half mile, thereby
making the corporate limits,
when extended, one mile from
