Ella James Minis. Lightning Kills Mule and Pig. Yorkville Enquirer : Quite a severe electrical storm played over the farm of Mr. D. M. Benfield in the Delptios neighborhood last Tuesday afternoon, and when it was over Mr. Kenfield fonnd himself pee"' by a $250 mule and a fine pig. It was about 4 o'clock. Mr. Benfield and his son James had just returned from Yorkville and finished putting up their stock as the storm broke As they were leaving the barn there was v a loud crash, and Mr. James Benfield, who was some little distance behind his father, fell to his knees badly shocked. Mr. Benfield first looked to his son and then made an examination ot the barn and stable. In the stable was a dying mule, one of the animals that had just been unhitched. It was i it..
