BUCKET SHOPS.

law. They plan to move just
across the Savannah river when

of telephones. It is understood
that quotations will be furnished
the city of Augusta by

The Georgia anti-bucket shop
law does not go into effect 11 tijiI
the first of next January. Our
legislature meets, we believe,
ihe 2nd Tuesday in the same
month. If, therefore, our lawmakers
will, promptly upon as
sembling, pass a law similar to
Georgia's, South Carolina will
