Mcllwain sold on this market Tuesday a hale ot cotton of tlie Florodora variety I for 12^ cents per pound. The price of ordinary cotton that day was 1 1 cents. It is claimed by some that the yield of the Floro dora is lighter than that of other kinds of cotton, but Mr. Mcllwain says that such has not been his experience, that he makes as 1 much " Florodora" to the acre as ' he has ever made with any other variety of cotton.
