Attention, Policyholders In South Carolina in New York Life and Mutual Life ?Meeting to be Held in Columbia. Tn view of the widespread in terest in lite insurance and du' efforts that may be made at the approaching annual mee'ings t?> obtain control of the companies, it has been deemed wise by some of the South Carolina policyholders in the New York Life and the Mutual Life to hold a meeting ol the policyholders in South Carolina lor the purpose of organizing an association and to secure proper wiiM-ojonlnhf.n rvf ftio r?r? 1 i i? The object of this meeting will be to secure the policyholders in their rights and it is not lhe purpose lo in yolve the companies in litigation or take any other action which might tend to impair the value ot the policies. There will be no cost upon any policyholder who participates in this meeting. "All policyholders who are in sympathy wi'h these purposes as outlined above are requested to notify the committee named below, or any one of them, wheiher it will be atrreeable to attend either in person or by proxy the meeting to be held in the city of Columbia on the 18th day of January at noon in the city council chamber.
