Having starred in Oliver, The Wi zard of Oz, Hello Dolly, A Christmas Carol, and the soon-to-be-performed Gypsy, Kuykendall sees his interest in theater work increasing. The Laurens County Community Theater has brought opportunities to many in our community. Not only has it improved the cultural opportuni ties, but is has enabled many to participate in roles other than acting. The behind the scenes staff has enabled many local citizens to become involved in a community project. As for the future, Kuykendall plans to continue performing with com munity theater—especially as long as his wife, Jenny, and his children maintain an interest.
