Is Weaving Career
When Wes Littleton retired recently from
Plant No. 2 Weaving, he ended a career with
the company that has expanded over 46
years.
Wes. as he is known by his many friends,
gained the reputation over the years of always
being at work well before shift change
because "I never liked to be late."
"I've missed very little time from work."
he added, "alwavs trvine to make every mrk
I could. That's the only way to make good
money." he added with a smile.
Wes recalled the early years with the company
when he ran about all the jobs at one
time or another. "Some days I didn't know
whether I'd bea loom filling supplier, smash
specialist, or a weaver."
"I liked my work and that's why I stayed
with it. Now that I'm retired, I guess I'll fish
and just relax." he continued, "but I'll never
forget my association with the 'mills.'"
