Boy's State Rep
Three Clinton Mills employee sons were
selected to represent their schools at
Palmetto Boy's State June 8 through 14.
Palmetto Boy's State, sponsored annually
by the South Carolina American
Legion, takes young men who havp
demonstrated leadership in their own
communities and trains them in the
democratic principles of government by
setting up the apparatus of city, county,
and state government and having these
young people actually participate in the
organization, election, and functions of
these governmental units.

Mac Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Angus Stewart, was sponsored by the
Clinton Rotary Club. Mrs. Stewart is
Bailey and Lydia Plants nurse.
Bill Stewart, a Plant No. 2 employee, is
Clinton's alternate to the week long event.
