They are Claudie and Christy Fagan, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fagan of Joanna. Mrs. Fagan before marriage was Laura McCall. The family of Dorothy Lawson had a reunion on Sun day, November 11. They met and enjoyed a wonderful day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lawson. And we've got a new reporter this month. Emily McNinch, (we call her Chris) and we hope her career as a reporter won't be as short lived as Gertrude's who resigned last month We extend a warm welcome to Giles Lawson and Ervin Chafin, who have recently come to the first shift. Glad to report that Mrs. Dick Harrill and Mrs. Benny Tucker, who have been patients in Bailey Memorial Hospital. are both home and doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Harrill spent a Sunday in Union recently. Mr. and Mrs. George Price and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Price visited Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Turner of Ninety Six. Ellison Roberts reports that they have a new grandson! Micheal Todd Roberts arrived November 9 to bless the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Roberts in Pickens. Congratulations to both parents and grandparents. Neuffer Creswell says they have a new baby at his house, which arrived October 23. She nas heen named Cocoa. Both mother and babv are doing fine after a stay at the hospital. I almost forgot to tell you that the mother's name is Poppy and she's the much loved little pet at the C res well's. Harold Meadors, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Meadors, received his discharge from the Air Force October 23. At present Harold is working with the shop crew at Clina * n: 11 _ ion mnis. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Barker and family attended the dedication program at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport on Sunday, November 4. Rudolph said it was a beautiful sight to watch the Blue Angels perform. but that it was the worst traffic jam he'd ever gotten into. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gibbs spent a recent weekend in Clemson with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hardy. Chris and Alfred McNinch were pleasantly surprised with a house warming at their new home October 27 on Saturday night. Hostesses were Miss Sara Nell McNinch, Mrs. Jesse Bolt and Patricia Bolt. Sandwiches, cookies, potato chips and punch were served bv the hostesses and Chris and Alfred received many beautiful and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Stroud have moved in their new home in Woodland Acres. Little Gerrie Patterson is spending the week in Greenville with Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wehunt. Jim Barnett is back at work after being out a week due to an auto accident. Sure glad you weren t hurt too bad Jim and didn't kill your dog. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bishop in the death of Mrs. Bishop's father. Mr. L. H. Rhinehart, of Joanna. Mrs. Mollie Martin. Mrs. Ollie Patterson. Inez and Jim Blackwell visited in Spartanburg recently. We also spent a Sunday at Ghost Town a few weeks ago. The mountains sure were a beautiful array of color.
