Mr. and Mrs. Bili Lewis and daughter are visiting relatives here having returned from Puerto Rica where Mr. Lewis has been servi? \ in the Army. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dean Reeves. Sarah and Paula Shelnut visited Ghost Town in the mountains of North Carolina during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Mona Cannon, a student nurse at Spartanburg General Hospital, is at home on vacation for a month. Mr. and Mrs. Jim May and son and Mike Stroud spent a couple of days at Myrtle Beach during the holidays. SP4 Kenneth Meeks celebrated a birthday July 6. Susie Meeks celebrated h e r birthday July 12. Mrs. Frances Meeks and Susie visited their sons and brothers Sp4 Kenneth and Pvt. Thomas Meeks at Fort Jackson a few days last week. The four weave rooms on the second shift enjoyed a I fish supper at Lake Greenwood a few Sundays back. Hiram Hughey and Bennie Sinclair gave the fish. He paused briefly at his motel to arise from his lounge chair, remove his sun glasses and pose for the above snap shot. "Ip" thoroughly enjoyed the races and the sun and surf along the Daytona Strand. He is a member of the Lydia "OleTimers" Club. Wife.
