We miss you Robert. I hope everyone had a nice time. Some of our folks just stayed at home while others had a nice time at the mountains and in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Eldrigde visited J. Randy Turner is spending two weeks with relatives in Bee T.og, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander spent a few days in the Smoky Mountains and also visited relatives in Greenville and Liberty, S. C. The baby girl's name is Gennv Lee. The Frank Lawsons have a new addition also?a boat, motor and trailer. They have had the outfit about a month and Dot said she hasn't learned to ski yet. I won't say off from work for a great many of you were like us, not off from work, just out of the mill. A great deal of home improvements went on and some just did little odd jobs they'd been putting off for a while. We're indeed grateful that all of you had a safe holiday and no faces were missing when we came back to work. Some of our folks did a bit of traveling. some near and some far and some had visitors. Joe McCall said they attended t h e Church of Clod Camp Meeting at Mauldin each night of vacation week. Mr. and Mrs. George Price and sons and Roger Dunaway visiiect iicor^e s ijraiuimol her in Del Rio. Tennessee and also spent a few days in C?atlinburg. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Klein of Columbia visited her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Jennings. Mr. and Mrs. Henrv Suttles visited in Morganton and Marion. N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Suttles and children of Durham. North Carolina visited both their parents. JoAnne and children remained for a lone or visit for the purpose of having JoAnne's tonsils removed at Hays Hospital and having help with the twin . girls who are only a few t months old. We know both grandparents a r e enjoying having them here. THE CLOTHMAKER Speaking of twins and vaations. we are sure this is ne vacation "Babe" Gregory vi 11 never forget! Becoming he parents of twins must be |uite an experience. The two ittle girls put in their ap>earance June 30 and had a ough time of it for a week >r more, but we're glad to eport that they seem to have jvercome the obstacles and ire gaining. Congratulations o both parents and babies. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence 3rookshire have gained a son. Dolores and Richard Dillinglam of Lancaster were maried June 2. Dolores is planning to go to Lancaster after working a notice on her job. We wish them much happiness. Mrs. Frances Bradberry said she didn't go anywhere luring vacation. She had her grandson with her so there wasn't anywhere to go. eh, Frances? Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Meadows spent vacation week with their son, A 1C Harold Meadows and Mrs. Meadows in Springfield, Mass. Ola said they really enjoyed their visit with them and the grandchildren and yet it ended on a note of sadness lor Eileen and the children are leaving for England in August. Harold is planning to come out of the Air Force in October and join them to make their home in England with her parents for awhile. Maybe they'll change their minds. Ola. Mr. a n d Mrs. Joe Gibbs snent vacation week in Gat linburg. Mr. and Mrs. Neuffer Creswell visited Treasure Island near St. Petersburg, Florida. They went deep sea fishing, but he didn't mention finding any treasures and come to think of it, he didn't mention catching any fish either. Did you Neuffer? Grady Smith said he and Louise went to Greenville and traded cars and drove on up to visit Preacher Spillers at his cabin in the mountains, but that was as far as they got. Trading cars was far enough wasn t it orady: Mrs. Toni Thomas of Birmingham. Alabama is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Meadows had as their visitors part of vacation week their little granddaughter. Laurie Penland. We're glad to have Joe Clihhs and Bill Campbell and Aline Lanford back at work after an absence due to illness. Our deepest sympathy to the Sanders family in the loss of their mother, Mrs. Dave Sanders. We extend a heart v wel come to our newcomers. Bobby James and Thomas Fuller. Mr. and Mrs. "Bootsie" Allman and sons and Inez Dunaway visited S Sgt. and Mrs. Bill Crowell in Fort Belleview. Virginia. Mrs. Missouri Wilkie visited her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilkie, in Dallas, Texas and they returned home with her for a visit. Yours truly (Millie) and Oscar went shopping in Greenville, that is "Green Stamp" shopping. We really had a ball, spending our Green Stamps. Lvdia Bell said she went to Spartanburg and spent her "Top Value" Stamps. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Harrill spent their vacation in the mountains of North Carolina. Their daughter Barbara Ann and son accompanied them. * * i * ? ^? ? ? lvir. ana i\irs. Cleveland Campbell and son, Mike, spent their vacation at Davtona Beach, Florida. "Shorty" said they attended the races and being her first time seeing them she really enjoyed them. Aliene Lanford said that she and her family spent their vacation at Lake Greenwood fishing. We're also glad to have Aliene back at work after an illness. Mr. and Mrs. Fern Hardman visited ther son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hardman, in Muskagee. Okla homa. Mrs. Hardman remained for a longer visit to await the arrival of a new grandbabv. Harry and Dot went fishing every day. She didn't say anything about what they caught only a good sun tan. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kernells. Jr. and children spent their vacation at Maggie Valley and also at Folly Beach. Boy! they really got around. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McNinch and Johnny spent their vacation at Ocean Drive Beach and they also visited in the mountains of North Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McNinch and Sara Nell accompanied them. Gertrude said after that she took a tour of neighboring towns shopping. Mr. and Mrs. James Harris and Linda, and Mr. and Mrs. Ithiel Harvey and daughters spent the week at Daytona Beach. Florida.
